Join Ashley Phlipot, Executive Director of Fort Meigs Historic Site, for a presentation on Lydia Bacon. "'Amid the Horrors of War:' The Adventures of Lydia Bacon, War of 1812" explores an officer's wife's journey as she joins her husband on campaign. From peaceful boating on the Ohio River to being captured by the British not once but twice, Lydia's incredible adventures give a glimpse into one woman's experience in America's first conflict as a nation.
