Earth Day 2024: Electronics Recycling Drive In-Person
Once again, Way Library will be partnering with RecellOne for our annual electronics recycling drive in celebration of Earth Day! In the far end of the parking lot (near the Curbside Pickup parking spots), library and RecellOne staff will be on-hand to unload your unwanted, unused, broken, or obselete electronics. All items are distributed to different recycling organizations around the state, avoiding the landfill, for proper electronics recycling.
We will only be collecting household electronics, so no large appliances or CRT TVs. Examples of accepted items are:
- Smart Phones, tablets, laptops, desktop computers
- Computer monitors, flat screen TVs (excluding rear-projection TVs)
- Toasters, clothing irons, microwave ovens
- Christmas lights (no fluorescent bulbs), batteries, VHS and cassette tapes
- ...and more!
