Sewing Basics Workshop - Registration Required In-Person
A workshop for those who have never sewn before. In the first hour of the class, we will cover basic terminology, the parts of a sewing machine, and commonly used fabrics. In the second hour of the workshop, students will set up a sewing machine and make a small drawstring pouch. If you already own a sewing machine, please bring it to the class as it is always best to learn on the machine that you will be using at home.
This program is offered by Way Library’s sewist-in-residence Samantha Anderson.
