Annie Zaleski Author Talk In-Person

Way Library welcomes writer Annie Zaleski in conversation with Katie Cline (BGSU) about Annie’s latest book, Taylor Swift: The Stories Behind the Songs, a comprehensive review of Swift’s entire songbook to date, covering all eleven studio albums and more than 200 songs that tell a dramatic story of life, love, and triumph. 

Annie Zaleski is an award-winning author, journalist and editor with profiles, interviews, and criticism in a variety of publications. Bylines include Rolling Stone, NPR Music, The Guardian, Salon, Time, Billboard, The A.V. Club, Vulture, Classic Pop, Record Collector, The Los Angeles Times, Stereogum, Cleveland Plain Dealer, and Las Vegas Weekly.  She’s been a radio commentator on various music and pop culture topics, appearing on NPR (All Things Considered and regional stations), the CBC, Sirius XM Canada and MPR. Previously, she was on staff as music editor at The Riverfront Times and managing editor at Alternative Press. She’s an editor for the 33 1/3 Genre Series (Bloomsbury), working with writers to shape their books.  Join us for an engrossing discussion of music, writing, and the songs that made a superstar.
