Homeschool Wax Museum In-Person

Homeschoolers ages 8-14 have the opportunity to do a "Wax Museum" or "Living Museum" project and present their work in-character at the library!

Project Description:

  • Choose a historical or influential person.
  • Check out a book from the library to learn about their life.
  • Create a tri-fold poster with interesting information about your person (ideas include a picture drawn by you, printed photos, date of birth, and a timeline of major events).
  • Write and memorize a 2-3 minute speech describing your person's life (in the first-person).
  • Practice the speech so you can give it with few or no notes.
  • Create an outfit to dress up as your character.
  • Present your speech to visitors of the museum on May 28th!
