Community Craft Supply Swap In-Person
Join us for a fun and creative Craft Supply Swap at the library! This is a fantastic opportunity to refresh your craft supplies, share with fellow crafters, and discover new materials for your next project. Whether you're into scrapbooking, knitting, painting, or any other craft, this event is for you! Those who donate will receive a ticket for early entrance to the swap.
Early Access for Donors: 10:00 AM (for those who donated supplies)
Open to the General Public: 12:00 PM - 2 PM
Any remaining supplies after the event will be donated to local organizations in need.
Donation Drop-off
August 6, 7 & 8
Donation Guidelines: All donated craft and art supplies must be clean, sorted, and organized by item. (e.g., paper with paper, beads with beads) for easier swapping. Each participant may donate up to two bags of supplies. Those who donate will receive a ticket to attend the swap on August 9 during early access hours.
Donations will not be accepted on Saturday, August 9.
New or gently used craft supplies donations including:
MARK MAKING: inks, pencils, paints, brushes, pastels, erasers, chalks, charcoals, markers
FIBER: yarn, fabric, thread, embroidery supplies, knitting needles/crochet hooks, thread, patterns,
ribbon, quilting tools, dressmaking, sewing machines, sewing notions
TOOLS: scissors, glue guns, soldering irons, craft knives, hole punches, easels, pottery tools, rulers
PAPER/CANVAS: canvas, watercolor paper, drawing paper, scratch boards,
panels, sketchbooks, construction paper, newsprint
CRAFTS: beads, jewelry findings, containers of all sorts, artificial flowers, foam, felt,
scrapbooking supplies, stamps, ink pad
BOOKS: art/craft instruction books, art/craft magazines, patterns, and store bought crafting kits
