MS Wellness and Exercise Class In-Person

This 45 minute class is designed for people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). It focuses on balance, posture, functional and core strength. Exercise has been shown in research to be safe and feasible with MS, and it can help in managing the high fatigue levels and functional mobility challenges these individuals face. Bring a yoga mat or towel. Chairs are provided.

MS, or multiple sclerosis, is a neurologic disease in which the body's immune system attacks its own cells/sheaths that provide protective coating to nerve fibers. This process is called demyelination, which can cause a variety of symptoms including vision problems, weakness, balance/walking issues, cognitive difficulty, and/or numbness and tingling.
