Heartland Book Discussion Online
Participants will be discussing the book Heartland: A Memoir of Working Hard and Being Broke in the Richest Country on Earth by Sarah Smarsh. Part memoir, part social analysis, part cultural commentary, HEARTLAND is an uncompromising look at class, identity and the perils of economic hardship in a wealthy nation. There will be an opportunity to hear the author Sarah Smarsh during an Author's Visit to Owens Community College on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. Books are available NOW at the Circulation Desk.
